展览主题：
海峡两岸学术与文化交流的开放与发展是当代中国社会转型历史时期的重要侧面，在这种交流中产生的在地观察与影像记录将是两岸社会变迁、发展有重要文化意义的文本。大陆人文学者顾铮、李公明教授分别于2010年10月、11月在台湾讲学1个月。顾铮教授是著名的摄影家、评论家与策展人，现工作于复旦大学。李公明教授是著名的公共知识分子，现任教于广州美术学院。在台期间，他们各自以摄影作为深度观察台湾的方式之一，拍摄了大量有关台湾社会生活与人文景观的照片。这些照片不同于一般的旅游照片，而是试图以较长时间、较深入的观察来呈现台湾社会生活的各个方面，在观察角度和考量深度上有别于走马观花式的旅游摄影。本次展出顾铮和李公明的摄影作品各60幅。
展览目的：
上大美院99创意中心以展览的方式与大家分享他们所看到的台湾人文景象。同时，更期待这些影像文本能够在促进两岸思想互动、加强影像视觉交流方面起到应有作用。展览开幕时，还将举行一个小型的、包括台湾学者参与的高质量的学术研讨会，讨论摄影与社会观察的关系。该展在上海结束后，还将在广州与台北进行巡展。
纪实摄影与跨区域考察
——“对台戏”展览研讨会

本次研讨会以顾铮、李公明“对台戏”展览为背景，以顾铮、李公明围绕作品拍摄的想法与对台湾社会的观感为由头的主题演讲，并邀请各专家共同讨论以下课题:
1、在观光摄影与深度性、系列性的纪实摄影之间，影像与社会观察的关系，影像的社会意义问题。
2、从该展览看大陆人文学者对台湾社会观察的视角特征、问题关怀。
3、 台湾学者对大陆学者观察台湾的视角、内涵以及所反映的历史观与现实观的评价。
4、从新闻传播的角度看这批作品在当下两岸图像交流方面的意义。
5、 台湾社会的历史叙事与政治叙事与图像传播的关系。
6、 海峡两岸学术界在社会与人文影像方面的交流现状、问题和前景。
7、对展览作品的摄影性方面的分析。

Exhibition Subject:
Opening and development of academic and cultural exchange across the Taiwan Straits is an important aspect of Contemporary China’s historical period of social transformation. Local observation and video recording in such kind of exchange will be significant texts for social transformation and development across the Taiwan Straits. Humanists in mainland, Prof. Gu Zheng and Prof. Li Gongming gave lectures in Taiwan in Oct. 2010 and Nov. 2010 respectively. Prof. Gu Zheng is a famous photographer, critic and exhibition planner and is now working in Fudan University. Prof. Li Gongming is a famous public intellectual and now teaching in Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. During stay in Taiwan, they used photography as a means of in-depth observation of Taiwan and took a lot of photos of social life and cultural landscape of Taiwan. These photos are different from common tourist photos, instead, they show people all aspects of social life in Taiwan through long-term in-depth observation, which are different from shallow tourist photos in both the angle of observation and the depth of consideration. Prof. Gu Zheng and Prof. Li Gongming will both have 60 photography works exhibited in this show.
Exhibition Objectives:
99 Art Center Fine Arts College of Shanghai University will share the humanistic pictures of Taiwan they have seen with the public in the way of exhibition. Meanwhile, we hope to see these images and texts’ influence in promoting thought interaction and strengthening image video exchange as expected. There will be a small-scale and high-level academic seminar during the opening of the exhibition. The seminar will be attended by Taiwan scholars and discuss the relation between photography and social observation. After the exhibition finish in Shanghai, it will be held in Guangzhou and Taipei.

This seminar takes Gu Zheng and Li Gongming’s Rival Show as background and their thought of photography as well as their perceptions of Taiwan society as the subject. Besides, experts are invited to discuss the following issues:
1. Relation between tourist photography and in-depth series documentary photography, relation between images and social observation, and social significance of images.
2. See China mainland humanists’ angle of observation and issues concerned of Taiwan society.
3. Taiwan scholars’ evaluation of China mainland humanists’ angle of observation, connotation, their historical view and realistic view.
4. See works’ significance in image exchange across the Taiwan Straits from the angle of news dissemination.
5. Relation between Taiwan’s historical narration and political narration and image transmission.
6. Exchange status, problems and prospects of academia across the Taiwan Straits in the aspects of social and cultural images.
7. Analysis of exhibition works in the aspect of photography
